So Many Games, So Little Time!
There’s so much going on in the miniature hobby space. Are we in a Golden Age as they call it? From new editions to new games, I have so much I want to do and so little time to do it.
Warlord Games released Bolt Action version 3 which I’m looking forward to. I have the new rulebook and will be playing my first game this weekend. Eventually, I would like to paint up some winter Americans and German forces for the game.
Games Workshop released a new version of Kill Team which I greatly prefer to their mainstream game, Warhammer 40,000. Kill Team has been a mainstay on the channel and I really enjoy playing it. Trench Crusade by Factory Fortress and Ravaged Star by Miniwargaming are both upcoming games that I’m interested in. I also bought a new game by Games Workshop called Blitz Bowl which I would love to bring to life on the channel.
Combine all of that with Necromunda, Flames of War, BLKOUT, Relic Blade, a new version of Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game on the horizon, it’s stimulation overload! There’s so many good, fun games and just not enough time to play them all.
Time is the great equalizer that we’re fighting against. You can’t cheat it, you can’t speed it up or slow it down. I do think we’re in a Golden Age of tabletop gaming. There’s more choices than ever and so many great games to play. The unfortunate part is we can’t make the days longer. We can’t squeeze more in unless we give something else up.
Remember to spend time with your family, take care of yourself and loved ones and enjoy the ride!
